Ultimate Bet poker is a large, competent quickly growing poker room. It offers its players a wide variety of tournaments and exceptional software options. Playing with the pros like Annie Duke or Phil Helmuth is not out of the ordinary. Both pros endorse the site and play there regularly. Ultimate bet has few downfalls, I have played at many sites and this is definitely one of my favorites. Some of the great things about this site are U.S players are accepted, the graphics are great and the games flow well. Ultimate Bet was also one of the first sites to introduce the new poker craze Pineapple. Where three whole cards is given and one must be put back after the flop. This is a fresh fun site to play at with quick payouts and traffic being high there is always a game waiting for you. Although watch out the competition can be loose.
Software
The software at ultimate bet is easy to use and very capable. It’s fast, reliable and updated regularly. It offers many features such as multi table play and re-sizable screens to make play easier. Player notes and buddy lists are there to keep track of your friends or take note of a certain player’s weakness. The lobby provides lots of information on the games being played like the percentage of players seeing the flop, average pot sizes and the number of hands that are being played per hour. Instant hand history is also there at your disposal. The site is easy to navigate and overall I give the graphics an A+ sitting at the tables you get the feeling of being at a real poker table. There have been complaints in the past but necessary actions and upgrades were made making this sites software first class.

Competition
The competition at Ultimate Bet is mostly soft. There are some tight players found here after all top pros often play at this site. Overall the competition is slightly better than other poker rooms in its class. About 40% of players will see the flop in the lower stake games. In middle stake games the number drops to around 30%.

There is only email offered at Ultimate Bet. There are no phones or live chats. This is a negative about the site. Emails do tend to be answered very quickly, some in only a matter of minutes.
